RHS AGM

DEFRA and the RHS AGM LOGO

<< Back to Homepage

Being a production nursery, we are required by DEFRA (Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) to have a plant health number.

It is 62130

This number appears on each invoice, which is sent with your order.

DEFRA are entitled to visit at any time to inspect our stock for disease or pest infestation. To this end it is important to us that our stock is free of any notifyable pests or disease.

The other aspect to this system is that, should a problem occur, you can trace the plant back to us via the invoice, and we can trace the source of that plant back to either our own propagation or the nursery that supplied the stock to us.

RHS AGM LOGO

RHS AGM RHS AGM (logo) Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.

This symbol appears next to the details of the plants that carry this award.

It means that the RHS have noted this plant as having particular merit.
We try to produce plants that are AGM, but we also grow many worthy varieties that have their own particular interest.

You can search the site for ‘AGM’ plants using the tool at the bottom left of the pages.
