Veg Seed - Greens There are several Cabbage types, and a nice range of Brussel Sprouts and various other greens including 'Broccoli' and 'Calabrese.' Most 'greens' are easy to grow from seed. Protect your seedlings from 'Cabbage Root Fly' damage by using collars. I tend to get my plants going in cells or even 9cm pots before transplanting. All vegetable brassica varieties will benefit from a good dollop of muck, or artificial nitrogen fertiliser for you non-organic types!
